How to refer to G&B, our child scope and referral-out criteria, insurance accepted, and secure ways to reach us.

G&B Integrative Psychiatry welcomes referrals from primary care, therapists, school counselors, and other clinicians. Care is provided by Kimberly Gibu, DNP, PMHNP-BC, in person in Honolulu and by telehealth across Hawaiʻi.

Who G&B is a good fit for

Child & adolescent scope

Children are seen from age 3 for straightforward concerns such as anxiety, separation anxiety, and adjustment difficulties. ADHD evaluations for children start at age 6; younger children with attention concerns can be seen for a general evaluation and referred as needed. Complex developmental or behavioral concerns — including autism evaluation, oppositional/conduct concerns, and intensive behavioral or parent-management programs — are referred to specialists. Fit is decided at intake.

Insurance accepted

Self-pay, Medicare (Original and UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage), Optum/UnitedHealthcare, and Med-QUEST (fee-for-service and UnitedHealthcare Community Plan) are booked directly with G&B; HMSA, Cigna, Aetna, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Curative are booked through Headway. See Insurance & How to Book.
