Insurance We Accept & How to Book

G&B Integrative Psychiatry accepts several insurance plans and offers self-pay. Because of how networks are set up, some plans book directly with us and others book through our partner Headway. Find your plan below.

Below is every plan G&B accepts and exactly how to book with it. Original Medicare, UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage (managed by Optum), Optum/UnitedHealthcare and Med-QUEST (fee-for-service and the UnitedHealthcare Community Plan) book directly with us. HMSA, Cigna, Aetna, Carelon and Curative book through Headway.

Medicare Advantage networks vary by plan; please confirm with your plan that G&B is in-network. If your Med-QUEST coverage is through a different health plan, call or text (808) 202-2855 to check whether we’re in-network.

Why are there two ways to book?

It comes down to which networks each plan is contracted through. For HMSA, Cigna, Aetna, Carelon and Curative, G&B is in-network through Headway, which handles scheduling and billing for those plans. For everything else, you book directly on our own scheduler. Either way you see the same clinician, Kimberly Gibu.

Prefer self-pay?

Self-pay is always welcome. You’ll receive a Good Faith Estimate under the No Surprises Act, and a superbill on request that you can submit to your plan for possible out-of-network reimbursement. See the full fee schedule.

Coverage depends on your specific plan. Please check your benefits with your insurer. G&B does not quote what you will owe.
